Terms of Service
How booking works, in plain language.
Last updated July 29, 2026
These are the terms for booking work with Reverence Detailing, a mobile detailing business based in Guelph, Ontario. Booking an appointment means you're fine with what's below. No legalese, because you shouldn't need a lawyer to understand what you're agreeing to.
Quotes Are Estimates Until We See It
Any number you get before we've looked at the vehicle is an estimate. We quote on condition rather than on packages, so the final price depends on what the vehicle is actually like when we arrive. If it's in worse shape than described, we'll tell you the revised price before we start anything, and you can say no. Express Cleaning is the one true flat rate at $75. Paint Correction and Ceramic Coatings are always quoted after an in-person assessment, never priced upfront.
Cancelling and Rescheduling
Tell us as early as you can if plans change. Cancelling or moving an appointment with at least 24 hours of notice costs nothing. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are hard to fill, so please avoid them where you can. If we have to cancel on you, we'll rebook at whatever time suits you.
Weather
We work outdoors in your driveway. Rain, snow, and hard cold can make some work impossible to do properly, particularly paint correction and ceramic coating, which need controlled conditions to come out right. When the weather won't allow good work, we reschedule instead of rushing it. A weather reschedule never costs you anything.
What We Need On Site
Reverence is mobile, not a self-contained unit. We need access to an outdoor water spigot and a working power outlet at the address, plus enough space to move around the whole vehicle. Take personal belongings out of the interior before we arrive. If there's no water or power available when we get there, we may not be able to do the job.
Payment
We take cash and Interac e-transfer. Payment is due once the work is finished, unless we've agreed something different ahead of time.
Liability
We're careful with every vehicle we touch. Detailing does tend to reveal damage that was sitting under the dirt, though: scratches, stone chips, failing clear coat, worn trim. Uncovering that isn't the same as causing it, and we're not responsible for pre-existing damage. The same goes for faults in aftermarket parts, wraps, or trim that weren't fitted properly, and for items left inside the vehicle. Take your valuables out before the appointment.
If we damage something through our own mistake, tell us right away and we'll make it right. Our liability for any one job is limited to what you paid for that service.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it.
